Restoring the ECCLESIA to her first LOVE, as BRIDE for the BRIDEGROOM

Welcome to The Restoration Library

So repent (change your mind and purpose); turn around and return [to God], that your sins may be erased (blotted out, wiped clean), that times of refreshing (of recovering from the effects of heat, of reviving with fresh air) may come from the presence of the Lord; And that He may send [to you] the Christ (the Messiah), Who before was designated and appointed for you–even Jesus, Whom heaven must receive [and retain] until the time for the complete RESTORATION of all that God spoke by the mouth of all His holy prophets for ages past [from the most ancient time in the memory of man].

(Acts 3:19-21)AMPC

ἀποκατάστασις – apokatástasis     RESTORATION
Occurs only in Act_3:21 where the restitution of all things is to be understood as the day of judgment and of the consummation of the age when the Lord will return.

An understandable translation then would be “whom [the ascended Christ] the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, of which [times of restitution] God spoke by the mouth of all His holy prophets”

It is at that time that life will be restored to the bodies of the dead, and the image of God in man, defaced by Adam’s fall, will be perfectly renewed in righteousness. This is a RESTORATION not only of the image of God in man, but also of the recognition of God in nature and by man for all that He rightly is, a wise God who governs the affairs of men. God’s power and justice will be recognized once again. He will then render to each person according to his works (2Co_5:10). At that time the veracity of God’s predictions will be proven (2Pe_3:3-4).

The Restoration Library concept came from the humble heart of a true servant of God who followed Jesus, our Messiah, and exemplified the Life of Christ to those he served. Our brother, Paul Rapoza, worked tirelessly to provide an outlet for the authors of Biblically sound and much-needed direction and discipling books, articles and audio, most centered on restoring our focus on Christ as Lord and the life source of His Ekklesia. No matter what the institutional church looks like today, God still has His remnant of Christ-centric, humble and contrite believers, willing to bear in themselves the suffering, rejection and hate our Messiah felt to speak up and walk out the TRUTH on the narrow way.
